- A generating or rendering of assets that is distributed between build and request time. DPR allows an asset cache to persist while other assets, which were not previously rendered, are being requested. The concept of DPR was coined in 2021 by Netlify. In many frameworks, it is now often compared to incremental static regeneration (ISR), though they differ in their approach to content updates and cache invalidation.
