- A draft web standard that makes Internet content portable and distributable while cryptographically verifying and vouching for its authenticity. Part of Google’s Web Packaging effort, SXG allows publishers to digitally sign their HTTP responses so that intermediaries can distribute the content while maintaining proof of origin and enabling the original publisher’s URL to appear in browsers. This technology enables secure content prefetching, offline distribution, and performance optimization by allowing trusted third parties to serve authenticated content on behalf of the respective original site. ↑ github.com/WICG/webpackage
