Design debt
- The design equivalent of technical debt, that is, the implied cost of fixing design work that is known not to be optimal. Design debt can be incurred for various reasons, for example, when requirements are not well understood, when a project is under time pressure, or when there are insufficient creative assets, documentation, or support.
