- A configuration aspect for email that allows dots (“.”) anywhere within the local-part of the email address, to still refer to the same address. That is, when dot-agnostic, jane.doe@example.com, janedoe@example.com, and j.a.n.e.d.o.e@example.com would all be the same address and reach the same recipient.
