Hack
- In computer security, a hack is an attack on or exploit of a computer system or network that was not authorized by the system owner. Hacks can be used for ethical and unethical purposes.
- In computing terminology, a solution to a problem, the performance of a task, or a system fix which is inefficient, inelegant (“hacky”), or even incomprehensible, but that somehow works. A hack is similar to a workaround, but quick and ugly. “Hack” can also be used with a positive connotation, for a quick solution to a frustrating problem. ← Wikipedia
