HyperText Markup Language
- The standard markup language for documents designed to be presented in a web browser. HTML can be used together with formatting languages such as Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and scripting languages such as JavaScript. Web browsers receive HTML documents from a web server or from local storage and render the documents into multimedia web pages. HTML and its elements describe the structure of a web page semantically, and HTML originally included cues for the appearance of the document. HTML was first released in 1991. ← Wikipedia ↑ html.spec.whatwg.org
