Internet Universality Indicator
- A series of factors, based on the ROAM framework (“Rights, Openness, Accessibility, Multi-Stakeholder Participation”), to help governments and other stakeholders assess their national Internet environments and promote the values associated with Internet Universality. The research on Internet Universality Indicators was envisioned to include consultations with key actors, but also a series of publications on important issues such as encryption, online hate speech, privacy, digital safety, and journalism sources. The outcome of this research was publicized in 2018. The IUIs are divided into three groups: quantitative, qualitative, and institutional indicators (which concern constitutional and legal arrangements). ← Wikipedia ↑ is.gd/MTPeU3
