• A transaction service extension that enables a single one-phase (non-XA) resource to participate in a two-phase commit transaction alongside one or more two-phase (XA) resources. The optimization commits the one-phase resource first, but introduces heuristic risk if network failures occur during the commit process. LPS is commonly implemented in application servers such as IBM WebSphere, WildFly, and Open Liberty.
