Local-part
- The first part of an email address. It may use any of the following ASCII characters: uppercase and lowercase Latin letters “A” to “Z” and “a” to “z”; digits “0” to “9”; the printable characters “!”, “#”, “$”, “%”, “&”, “'”, “*”, “+”, “-”, “/”, “=”, “?”, “^”, “_”, “`”, “{”, “|”, “}”, and “~”; and dots (“.”), provided that a dot is not the first or last character unless quoted, and provided also that it does not appear consecutively unless quoted (i.e., jane..doe@example.com is not allowed). ← Wikipedia
