Malware
- Software intentionally designed to cause disruption to a computer or computer network, to gain unauthorized access to information or systems, leak information, or deprive access to information, or that unknowingly interferes with a user’s computer security and privacy. Researchers tend to classify malware into one or more subtypes (i.e., computer viruses, worms, Trojan horses, ransomware, spyware, adware, rogue software, wipers, and keyloggers). “Malware” is a portmanteau of “malicious software.” ← Wikipedia
