• A type of domain that is registered and set up using blockchain technology. Instead of relying on the Domain Name System (DNS), an “unstoppable” domain works with a blockchain equivalent, sometimes referred to as “crypto name service” (CNS). Because of the blockchain approach, records of unstoppable domains cannot be updated, transferred, or deactivated without the owner’s consent.
