Web platform
- A collection of technologies developed as open standards by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and other standardization bodies such as the Web Hypertext Application Technology Working Group (WHATWG), the Unicode Consortium, the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), and Ecma International. It includes technologies—computer languages and APIs—that were originally created in relation to the publication of web pages, like HTML, CSS, SVG, MathML, ARIA, ECMAScript, and many others. “Web platform” is an umbrella term introduced by the World Wide Web Consortium. ← Wikipedia
